His elimination occurred when attempting to steal the big blind to his opponent with Q8o. He pushed all in, but his opponent was waiting with QQ. Therefore, Jason Duval had to settle for $ 44,422.
It was the German Michael Ganesh, who won top honours, thus receiving a paycheck of $ 278 613.
Tournament #35 – Pot - limit Omaha at $ 3000.
Four Quebecers were back for the second day, then that Jonathan Duhamel (poker_john), Philippe Boucher (PhilLeDingue), Erik Cajelais and Arthur Walker attempting to survive to a second day.

Unlike other traditional tournaments, shootout tournaments are played like a sit' n'go: to survive the first day of a shootout tournament, each player must first be crowned winner on its own table.
A few familiar faces have been able to spend the day #2. It is particularly the case of the French Bertrand Grospellier, and Amanda Musumeci, Gavin Smith and Erik Seidel, among others. One can also find the Québécois Jean-Pascal Savard.

170 players enrolled in Limit Hold'em event ' em. And as any event Limit hold ' em, the action was rather slow on this first day of hostility. At the end of the first day, Greg Mueller is the leader on the 103 remaining players.
