3 Quebecers spend the day #2 in the #57 event

Event #53 - Hold'em no limit ($1500)

At the beginning of the day yesterday, still 3 players vied for the bracelet. The trio was led by David Vamplew.

It was the American Brett Shaffer, who won the tournament and the $ 665,397.

For him, it was his first career bracelet and its 8th award in a WSOP tournament.

Event #54 Hold'em no limit ($1000)

Yesterday also marked the end of this tournament $ 1000. It is the American Dana Castañeda, who won the $ 454,207 followed by the Canadian Jason Bigelow who pockets $ 281,991 on his side. It is the first woman in 2013. to win a mixed tournament.

We followed this tournament closely since Jonathan Duhamel therein to the 2nd row before the beginning of the day yesterday.

After 3 days of game, Duhamel is now ranked 8th on 26 with a stack of one million and the dust.

The current leader is Don Nguyen which has a little more than 2 million chips.

Remember that 16 players will be paid in this tournament and the winner receives 1. $7M.

We wish the best of luck to Jonathan in this tournament during this decisive day for him (it is today that we will know some of the Fellows).

Event #56 - Hold'em no limit ($2500)

4 Quebecers were to follow in this tournament to Hold'em at $ 2500. As a reminder:
