PokerCollectif was on hand for the start of the main event of this series of tournaments. Here is some information that caught our attention during our visit.
Marc-Olivier Carpentier Perreault; leader at the WSOPC points
Tuesday was a busy day on the side of poker at the Casino du Lac-Leamy while began the main event of this series at the same time that ended the #6 event. The finalists of the event #6, included Marc-Olivier Carpentier-Perreault (celtic4444 on Espacejeux).
Marc-Olivier eventually finished in 6th place in this tournament. With this position, it is the new leader at the WSOPC with 72.5 points points. The bulk of his points was raised while he won the event #3 of the same series (for a purse of $ 19,477). Bravo Marc - Oliver for these impressive performance!
Event #6
To return to the event #6, interestingly, Sébastien Morissette came shortstack on the final table with 25,000 chips and finished 2nd after mounting his stack to 250,000 tokens. He has had the chance to win several "flips" to move up among the leaders. On the final hand, his A4 all in preflop did not good against the KQ of his opponent who hit his K on the flop.
The tournament was won by Garabey Dokmadjian who returns home with a little over $ 13,203. Sebastian Meanwhile pockets a little over $ 8000.
Main event #7 1A and 1 b
Day 1 A and 1 B should be played on the same day. One was to begin around noon and end around 7:00 pm and the other starting around 21:00 and end around 3:00. On the other hand, with regard to the day 1 B, it was postponed quickly after only a few hands.
Several members of PokerCollectif were present to participate in this tournament. Among them, there are Blackpoule, Chuck, Chanmix, Kfax, Pyjamez, Yadio, Eqn778 and Blackjack (all present on day 1 A).
After the day, Pyjamez and Kfax were the only to still have tokens. We wish them the best of luck for the rest of the things.
Day 1 c
Day 1 c began at noon as scheduled and 123 players were enrolled at the time of the first hand.
At the time of this writing, 155 players took part in this day in which 152 are still in the race.
