2K Games has announced that the game Evolve, the next cooperative shooter game from Turtle Rock Studios (Left For Dead), sees its release date postponed in 2015.
Originally scheduled for October 21, Evolve is now scheduled for February 10, 2015.
In a teleconference with investors, Take-Two said that Evolve delayed stemmed from the desire to provide more time to Turtle Rock to refine the game. "We are encouraged by the overwhelmingly positive response from press and fans, and believe by extending development by a few months, it will allow the team enough time to fully realize their creative vision for Evolve" said president Karl Slatoff.
After Battlefield Hardline, Batman: Arkham Knight and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Evolve thus joins the growing list of game originally scheduled for this year pushed back for 2015.
