The next installment in the Call of Duty series could see the apparence of a 3rd person view after its launch.
A Tweet from Michael Condrey of Sledgehammer Games, suggests that such a possibility could be added in an update after the launch (or a DLC, why not making money with the idea)

It would'nt be the first time that Call of Duty series sees the options of a first and third person perspective. In 2009, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 offered this option and drastically changed the gaming experience.
Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare will be released November 3 2014 on PlayStation 4
An new version of the Xbox One console will also be available exclusively with the Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare game at launch.
