Event #50: 8 - Game Mix ($1,500)
485 players took part in this $ 1,500 8-Game tournament. Among them, of course, Daniel Negreanu and Phil Ivey. Two players, as each tournament, would try to give the best of themselves to get the bracelet, add to what they have already done in the world of poker and win their famous bet.
Negreanu went well near winning a bracelet he who finished 9th for $ 9,014. But Phil Ivey for his part, noted the challenge and won his bet and a 10th WSOP bracelet.
He finished ahead of Bruce Yamron ($103,375) who came close to winning his 1st career bracelet.
For his performance, Ivey won the bracelet, $ 167,332 and, more importantly, his bet!

Event #51: NLHE Monster Stack ($1,500)
The peculiarity of this tournament, as its name suggests, is that you begin the tournament very deep with a stack of 15,000 chips.
First thing to clarify, this tournament has been a huge success since 7,862 players participated including several Quebeckers.
After 2 full days of play, there are now 576 players in the race.
Now, 3 Quebec will follow and will move to the day #3.
Jason Duval aka "dog baby" is 17th with 547,000 chips.
Jean-Pascal Savard is 290th with 169,000 chips.
Barry Austreicher of Dollard-Des-Ormeaux is 530th with 62,000 chips.
Laurence Gonzales came very close access to the 3rd day, but after several roller coaster, she lost his last chips with QQ vs AK button against big blind. Unfortunately for her, a big cooler that gave him leave of this tournament.

Event #52: Limit Hold'em ($10,000)
A modest number of 122 players participated in this tournament of Hold'em $ 10,000. At this stage, there are still 10 players in the race, but no québécois. Greg Debora dominated the event with his 749,000 chips. The winner will receive a prize of $ 303,909.
Event #53: Ladies Championship (NLHE $ 10,000)
793 players participated in this tournament with a $ 10,000 buy-in. At the time of this writing, there are still 105 players in the race led by Patty Landis.
The bubble should burst today while the tournament will pay 81 seats. The winner will win $ 153,470.
Event #54: PLO Hi-Low Split-8 or Better ($3,000)
474 players took part in the event, which began yesterday. After a day of play, there are now 152 players. Brett Shaffer dominates with its 97,900 tokens.
Only 54 players will be paid ($5,007) and the winner will receive $ 297,650.
