This weekend, the news that the Everest Poker group migrates to iPoker has been published. This new applies both to the .fr than at the .com. In this regard, Roei Gravish, Playtech responsible (owner of the iPoker network) stated: "we are very pleased to welcome Betclic-Everest on our .com and .fr networks. We are confident about this collaboration. "It is a win-win alliance which anchor a little more dominance by iPoker on the B2B market".
When to him, the Director of Betclick Everest group has issued no comment on the agreement. This news greatly benefit Everest which was losing speed. iPoker is the 2nd network in importance (after PokerStars) and now has the Speed Hold'em, clone of Rush Poker Full Tilt Poker and PokerStars Zoom. Everest will therefore not have to spend money in technological developments related to this option costs.
Recall that iPoker currently has 40 rooms including William Hill. As of September 1, the network will be divided into 2 groups (iPoker 1 and iPoker2). On one side, the most influential and popular rooms and on the other, the smaller rooms.
We should also remember that Betclick Everest had taken over 60% of Everest in 2009 and completed 100% of the acquisition last month, a transaction that allowed him to become sole owner of the Group and take the decision to join a network.
It now remains to see if Everest will be part of the sites included in iPoker 1, the network of Playtech with its biggest clients and which enjoys special offers and exclusive cash in cash games, or if he will have to settle for iPoker 2, the lower level.
This new much talk this last weekend and on different forums, one could read many concerns on the part of the players.
