A chapter is added to this already large book of the history of Full Tilt Poker. Yesterday we learned that Full Tilt Poker and group Bernard Tapie have concluded an agreement that will allow the transfer of the assets of the company. This agreement allowed by a vote of the majority of shareholders. A stage of more than crossed to the re-opening of the site!
What it means? All active Full Tilt Poker will be transferred to the U.S. Justice Department to allow the GBT to take control. Laurent Tapie group Tapie is currently in Dublin discussing with employees the future of Full Tilt Poker.
PokerCollectif had announced you that FTP operations back in service before the end of January 2012 and that is clearly what promises!
To date, there is 1 single step; Full Tilt Poker must make an inventory of his assets under the supervision of the Bernard Tapie group. Once this inventory has been drawn, the DoJ can take possession of the assets of FTP to then sell to the GBT.
Other details, GBT will reimburse the non-American players. It is a promise that the Group did and this is what will be. The total of the accounts is estimated at 150,000,000$ therefore, for many PokerCollectif members who have funds on FTP, Yes, you see again the color of your money, which is excellent news. It's the DoJ who will reimburse US players.
In closing, please note that Bernard Tapie requested a licence for Full Tilt Poker in Spain following the announcement that the Spanish market of poker is in fact being regulated.
