Daniel Tzvetkoff hiding in New York?

Last month, PokerCollectif had spoken you that Daniel Tzvetkoff was to appear at the trial of Chad Elijah and John Campos. As a reminder, Tzvetkoff, is the man without that black friday would not have occurred, it is the man who one day risk 75 years in prison for attempting to steal over $ 100 million and that the other day, is found free and witness in a case that accuses players of black friday.

Several counts against him including those of bank fraud and money laundering. Tzvetkoff could then spend the next 75 years in prison for having facilitated the transit of millions of dollars between American players and online poker rooms. Five months after his arrest in Las Vegas, as if by magic, he was released on bail. He allegedly exchanged information against his freedom. Beautiful junk some would say.

Supposed to be a witness at the trial of his former accomplices, he had since disappeared and enjoyed the protection of the FBI.

Recently, a photograph published on the website http://www.couriermail.com.au/ (see photo section) suggests that he is our man. Sighted in New York Sunday, April 22, in train to walk with his family. Questioned by the newspaper, he clearly denied that it was him. He simply threatened that if not left quiet, there is having problems with him. Then he climbed into a taxi with his family and he is gone.

Many people were eager to see Tzvetkoff sued since everything he knew of black friday. With his testimony, perhaps could have a little better understanding of what had happened during and before black friday.

With regard to the trial of the actors of black friday, many have already pleaded guilty including the co-founder of Absolute Poker Brent Beckley. More recently, John Campos had also pleaded guilty to avoid going the next 45 years in prison. Unclear yet what will be his punishment, which initially was supposed to be reduced to 1 year. Judge Lewis A. Kaplan in this case will give his final verdict June 27. One thing is certain, judge Kaplan is not sympathy actors of black friday.

PokerCollectif will keep you informed of the verdict in June.
