SharkRankings.com is a new website that has just been launched recently and promises 1 M€ if you are the first player to win 5 wins in 10 poker tournaments that are held in Ireland.
Who are the people behind this project? Breifne Earley and Chris Griffin, who in 2010 had launched Challengeten.com site on which they launched several challenges.
SharkRankings caters to players of all levels, whether you are professional or not. The site is becoming the most popular poker in Ireland site. It will list all the available tournaments in Ireland and a list of online tournaments.
"Everything started when asked who was the best player of poker in Ireland" says Earley. "We have decided to introduce a mechanism that would give us the answer once and for all" he continues.
All tournaments will be taken into consideration and at the end of the year, the player who has accumulated the most points will be judged the best player of the year.
For the price of 1 M euro, it will be awarded to the person who will win 5 tournaments in 10 in Ireland among the 10 most prestigious titles of Ireland.
The founders explained: "we reconnaissont the talent it takes to win only 1 title in 1 prestigious tournament and that is why we are prepared to give the sum of 1 M euro to any person who is able to win 5 titles in 10 major tournaments of poker in Ireland".
