Bernard Tapie says the debt of FTP pros

FTP-Entrepreneurs
PokerCollectif had spoken you last week that a threat watched Full Tilt Poker players (the ones who pray obviously for a long time that the site re - opens as soon as possible). As you might read in the article: while the GBT is full audit prior to the conclusion of the transaction, one of the lawyers of the Group Bernard Tapie, Behn Dayanim, said yesterday that many pros players had a substantial Full Tilt Poker amount.

For more details on this new, see: agreement between group Bernard Tapie and Full Tilt Poker compromised?

Today, we learn that Bernard Tapie confirmed these remarks and is not ready to assume the 16. $5M missing. But reassure us, he confirmed that several players have expressed their willingness to cooperate to their loan. Unclear yet who 19 mentioned pros has already responded favourably to this appeal and who has not yet responded. Hope that those who have not yet replied will do soon and that their response is not a sign of refusals to reimburse.

Here is the statement of the Group Tapie thereon:

"Argument from players who say 'we will refund if this money goes to the players' is fallacious, since they know very well that the players will be refunded if GBT goes at the end of the recovery, and for this it is necessary the bulk of money owed by pros return to Full Tilt. ''

Otherwise it is GBT which will remove the corresponding amounts, which generates an extra cost on the overall operation that GBT is not ready to assume, especially as the financial situation of Full Tilt appears, on the basis of the audit, actually worse than expected. The contention that this situation may block the deal is unfortunately true.

But GBT will not stick to this point. We will closely study the exact history of the accounts of 19 professional players who never settled their indebtedness to other Full Tilt players, debt amounting to 16.5 M$.Community Poker, and in particular that of former Full Tilt players waiting to recover their funds, deserves to know the reality of the behaviour of some major poker figures claiming to be "appalled the situation of players to Full Tilt and wish to do everything possible to enable them to regain their funds ', who blame the former leaders, but which refrain well to indicate how much they borrowed from Full Tilt, and lost, playing on the site. These losses are yet a part of the funds of the players waiting to be reimbursed.

When a poker player, let alone a big player, recognized and admired, the basic rule, it seems to me, is to honor her gambling debts. Fortunately, among the 19 players that we have tried to contact certain we immediately recalled and work with us to a repayment or compensation of debt plan, and we are already finalising contracts in this sense. We hope now that those who have not contacted us will do it quickly, to find the same type of solution with the first, so that the situation does not remain in the State. »

The pros who owe money to FTP, include Phil Ivey, Layne Flack, Mike Matusow, Erick Lindgren, David Benyamine and Barry Greenstein.

According to anonymous sources, the following players would have debts to FTP:

Phil Ivey: $ 4million.

Erick Lindgren: 4$ million.

David Benyamine: $ 2 million.

Layne Flack: $ 2 million.

Mike Matusow: amount not accurate but less than $ 2 million.

Barry Greenstein: $ 400,000.

The figures are merely speculative and PokerCollectif cannot support them. It is simply numbers which were launched here and there, but which seem credible. The repayment of these debts remains essential for the re-opening of the site. Hope that these players will have the honour required repayments which must. The Bernard Tapie group could undertake legal action against the offending player after redemption of Full Tilt if negotiations lead to nothing.
