The regulars on PokerStars.com have perhaps already noticed; the last-update of the software has several changes on the tables of cash games.
As at FullTilt Poker, PokerStars has introduced tables CAP. That is what tables CAP? A table on which money to invest by hand is caped. Regardless of your number of big blinds at the table, you can bet more than 20 big blinds by hand. Once you reach this limit, you will be considered all-in. Please note that the CAP tables will be available for the NL50 and more.
Tables NL10 and try have their deep version now (with deep carpets), which means between 100BB and 250BB of entry. You can also play on the tables in euros.
You will also find news tables of Limit Omaha Hi / Lo shorthanded. You can play it from blinds at 0.10/0.25 to 3/6 blinds.
The shortstack tables where you could enter with 20 or 50 big blinds will not be available.
The PokerStars update will take place in two stages. The first step was to add the new tables. The second stage will be on February 10 while PokerStars will remove Hold tables' Hold'em shortstack, i.e. with 10/50 big blinds.
