2011 WSOP, Guy Laliberté, Tom Dwan and Phil Ivey!

Onedrop

Already by the parties concerned for the tournament at 1 M$

The majority of the people of PokerCollectif have heard earlier this week of the tournament at 1 M$ for the One Drop Foundation. This tournament will refund 11.1% of the scholarships to the charity, which works to promote access to clean water everywhere in the world.

Hurry because places are limited! We learned today that several players had already booked their place with Tom Dwan, Daniel Negreanu, Patrik Antonius, Johnny Chan, Bobby Baldwin and billionaire Phil Ruffin author of the famous "Ruffin Theorem" (according to this theorem, it is important to use our earnings from beginning of session to make daring call later). Nothing is confirmed yet, but it is not impossible that Jonathan Duhamel participates in this tournament by selling a few shares of its action.

Tom Dwan will be very active in the 2011 WSOP

A few days ago, talked you about that it was not going too well for Tom Dwan at the cash game because he had already lost a good amount of money (which has not yet been confirmed). But this is not such bad beginnings that will discourage Mr Dwan, recognized for his perseverance. In 2011, Tom Dwan intends to participate in as many tournaments it is humanly possible to play.

Several reasons for this, including the fact that it can no longer play on Full Tilt Poker tables since last April, but also his bet with Phil Ivey.

To refresh the memory, last year, Dwan and Ivey had made a bet that the first to win a bracelet at the WSOP in the next 3 years to hand over a sum of money to the other player. This bet is for the moment not air stressing Phil Ivey who, as we know, decided to sulk the 2011 WSOP. It will remain him one year to win his bet.

Absent great Ivey of the 2011 WSOP

Speaking of Ivey, it was learned yesterday that one of the reasons for his absence is that he didn't have to answer to all players at the tables that questionneraient it on Full Tilt Poker. This is at least his friend Barry Greenstein confirmed in a radio interview.

Remember that Phil Ivey, that Mike Matusow has recently appointed amicably "F * ing Piece Of S * t", (spend for translation), always brought a Tiltware suit for damages and interest.

He explains:

"My name and my reputation were dragged in the mud by the lack of reaction and indecision of others and this at the expense of all other players. '' I refuse to remain silent and I filled a complaint against Tiltware in relation to the non-payment of players. Can be understood, it was not an easy decision for me to push those who can change things to act. "

"I dedicate my time, as I have done for six weeks, to find a solution that holds the security of American and international players who have been affected by the slow and painful process of repayment.

For these reasons, Ivey claims several million dollars to Tiltware.
