The list of 10 nominees for the Poker Hall of Fame 2014 has just been published. It was announced on Tuesday by the World Series of Pokerlast. The nominees include Daniel Negreanu who, if he is not elected this year will be in any way one day or the other.
As a reminder, to be eligible for the Hall of Fame, it must meet the following conditions:
-Be aged 40 minimum on appointment
-A player must have confronted the players recognized as the best
-Have played highstakes
-Have played well on a regular basis and have earned the respect of his peers
-Have stood the test of time
-Or, for non players, have contributed to the growth and the success of poker, with a result of long duration.
One or two people from the list will be selected.
Last year, they are Scotty Nguyen and Tom McEvoy who entered the Poker Hall of Fame.
For the winners, we will have to wait the final Main Event of the WSOP 2014 at the Rio, November 9.
