Fault of personal information at UB

ultimate-bet-scandal
You thought that UB couldn't do worse? Think again! This week, we learned that personal information of players with accounts at UB were in broad daylight.

This information includes: full name, players screen name, email address, postal address, balance of their account, IP, deposit method, date of birth, account number, VIP status, affiliate status.

This information first appeared on the Twoplustwo forums when one anonymous poster has posted a link in the forums on which you could click and which gave us access to the personal information of our players. It is 3.5 million players who have been affected. Among these accounts, 2 M from accounts of the United States, 319,000 Canadian accounts, 137,000 British accounts and about 1 million accounts in other countries.

Fortunately, the most crucial information such as passwords and credit card numbers did not appear in the available information. Poker sites have the obligation and the responsibility to keep your information in secure places and this kind of fault is unacceptable. Is this a reflection of management pin hay? Please note that this news does not touch the Absolute Poker players.

To date, the site on which you could find this information is no longer available. It is not possible to know how many people were able to access this information.
