In his recent blog posted on CardPlayer, Daniel Negreanu suggests a list of players who might be banned from the WSOP. The purpose of his text seem to think aloud to launch attacks. It shows also cautious towards some players. It simply the legitimacy for some players to represent in a WSOP event.
Negreanu blacklist:
Russ Hamilton and Mansour Matloubi: these two players are guilty of having used the "God mode" for cheating on Ultimate Bet. According to Negreanu: "none of them should be allowed to step foot in the WSOP. Even if they don't care no doubt". It should be noted that since 2006, none of these two players participated in a WSOP tournament.
Chris Ferguson and Howard Lederer: these two former Full Tilt Poker have been involved in the Black Friday. Negreanu says: "I am not at all satisfied with how he has handled this case, but to my knowledge he has never cheated at a poker table".
He finished by mentioning Annie Duke and Jeffrey Pollack. It dates back to the time of the Epic Poker League, who had promised a freeroll with 1 M$ in scholarships. This promise had not been kept.
Negreanu ends by saying that even if these people could be banned from the WSOP, he would have no problem to cross them on a table in a tournament with the exception of Russ Hamilton and Mansour Matloubi.
