According to the Las Vegas Sun the the 9th Las Vegas District Court of Appeal erred in dismissing the contractual claim of Cycalona Gowen against Tiltware, the California company that provided the software players to Full Tilt Poker. This judgment had been rendered by Judge Robert C. Jones rejecting requests for Clonie Gowen.
The initial decision was dismissed without prejudice, which helped Gowen to continue his prosecution in the light of the new evidence brought. In its initial complaint against Full Tilt Poker boss, i.e. Howard Lederer, Gowen sought 1% of the shares of the company. According to his original contract, this is what she was right and that it has not received.
It is the first time in its history that a negative ruling against Full Tilt Poker. In his original suit, Gowan also named the name of Ray Bitar, one of the 10 people charged relatively to the Affairs of the black friday. Let's say that this little detail had to look in the balance.
