The Xbox One launch title from Crytek, Ryse: Son of Rome will be released on Windows PCs later this year, with 4K resolution support and all the DLC included. Crytek will publish the game online while Publisher Deep Silver will take care of the box version of the game.
"We are bringing the Ryse experience to PC, with 4K resolution support," Crytek director of business development, Carl Jones, said in a statement. "4K gaming is another leap in graphics quality for PC gamers and Ryse is the perfect showcase for what's now possible in high-end PC games."
Jones went on to say that Ryse: Son of Rome will be a "benchmark PC graphics showcase" when it is released this year and "probably for a long time in the future."
Ryse: Son of Rome had a metige success. First, announced with an impressive demonstration video at E3 2013, the game was then heavily decreased graphic quality wise when released on Xbox One. Sales of the game were also below expectations of Crytek which had signed exclusivity with Microsoft for his game. The release on Windows will finally offer the possibility for Crytek to impress everyone as they are used to on PC.
No release date is announced for the moment, but in the meantime, you can see the video demo at E3 2013 which should more accurately represent the Windows PC edition comming later this year.
